If there were one material that best embodies Alpinestars' 60-plus-year heritage, it would be leather. If there were one garment that best represented global, casual, contemporary streetwear of the last 30 years, it would be the hoodie. If there were one piece that managed to combine these elements in a luxurious and forward-thinking interpretation, it would be the Axis Leather Hoodie. Partially inspired by leather jackets from the Alpinestars archives, the Axis combines supple perforated leather sleeves and cuffs with full-grain, unperforated sleeves and body. Although the Axis almost appears as two separate pieces, the sleeves are actually integrated with the full-zip body and raised shoulders, creating a seamless garment. The boxy, slightly cropped cut gives it a contemporary silhouette, while a soft, organic lining complements the durability and luxury of supple leather.
