The Racecraft Jacket is a contemporary reinterpretation of the iconic late 90s Alpinestars jacket, based on the original 1999 Dyno Jacket. This unique design draws from the brand's racing heritage while giving it a modern, lifestyle character.
The jacket is made from original, deadstock cowhide leather, sourced from unused MotoGP race suits. In the same spirit, shoulder protectors from authentic race suits were used, but moved lower – they now serve as decorative "captain's armbands" rather than full protection.
The jacket's color scheme is based on the authentic color blocking of factory MotoGP teams for which these suits were originally designed. The patches allude to the racing iconography of past decades, evoking memories of two-stroke engines and carbureted motorcycles.
Unlike its fitted, sporty predecessor, the Racecraft Jacket has been designed with a looser, more casual fit, ideal for everyday wear.
