The Racecraft Jacket is a contemporary interpretation of Alpinestars' iconic late-'90s jacket, based on the original Dyno Jacket from 1999. This unique design draws on the brand's racing heritage while giving it a modern, lifestyle edge.
The jacket is crafted from genuine, deadstock cowhide leather sourced from disused MotoGP racing suits. In the same vein, the shoulder protectors from the authentic suits have been relocated lower, serving as decorative "captain's armbands" rather than full-fledged protection.
The jacket's color scheme is based on the authentic color blocking of the factory MotoGP teams for which these suits were originally designed. The patches reference racing iconography from decades past, evoking memories of two-stroke engines and carbureted motorcycles.
Unlike its fitted, sporty predecessor, the Racecraft Jacket has been designed with a looser, more casual fit, perfect for everyday wear.
