Tokyo's AMBUSH, in collaboration with Nike, introduced an avant-garde interpretation of the Dunk High silhouette with the Nike Dunk High Ambush Black. Inspired by Japan's vibrant bike, car, and truck culture, this collaboration redefines the silhouette's proportions, evoking a sense of aerodynamic sleekness. Elements such as the elongated Swoosh and pronounced heel counter pay homage to the extended tailpipes and raised rear chassis of motorcycles and trucks.

The Nike Dunk High Ambush Black features a classic white and black leather upper, reminiscent of the traditional color blocking seen in early Nike Dunk releases from 1985. Its standout feature is the exaggerated Swoosh that extends past the heel. Setting it apart from conventional Nike Dunks are details like the raised heel counter, which exposes more white leather paneling at the shoe's rear, and an elongated black plastic unit bearing Ambush branding enveloping the heel. The design is rounded off with an exposed foam tongue, white sole, and co-branded tongue tag.

The Nike Dunk High Ambush Black made its debut in December 2020.
